Fried Tomato with Pesto

Ingredients
3 fresh tomatoes
2 cloves garlic
1 cup chopped fresh basil leaves
2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
1⁄4 cup freshly ground Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons pine nuts
Instructions
Cut the tomatoes in half. Combine garlic, basil, olive oil, Parmesan, and pine nuts in a blender or food processor. Puree until smooth. Add the mixture on top of each tomato. Place the tomatoes in a broiler pan and broiler about 3 ′ ′ over medium heat until slightly browned, about 3-5 minutes.
